This year’s Spring UBC Library and Alma Mater Student Society Food for Fines Campaign raised a sum of $2,235.00 over a Point Grey and Okanagan campuses.
Now in a fifteenth consecutive year during UBC, the Food For Fines campaign waives $2 in Library fines for each food object donated, to a limit of $30. The module began as a corner beginning to support disadvantaged members of a community, and has turn an constituent source of a AMS Food Bank’s food reserves to support UBC students in need.
Non-perishable food equipment were collected during dissemination desks and afterwards distributed to the AMS Food Bank.
