The B.C. History Digitization Program (BCHDP) is now usurpation submissions for funding. The program, launched by a Irving K. Barber Learning Centre in 2006, provides relating grants to support projects that make B.C. story openly available.
In 2015 a module awarded some-more than $198,000 to 24 opposite village groups in B.C. Projects have enclosed digitization of village newspapers, detailed collections and church and museum archives. In total, a BCHDP has awarded some-more than $1.6 million dollars given a inception.
BCHDP is now usurpation submissions for a 2016 focus round. Applicants can accept adult to $15,000 in supports for their projects, and can contention for multi-year projects.
